Contest Site Specifications
1. Competition area at least 70' X 100' in size (front spectator stands to back spectator stands and side to side) This takes into account the "safety zone" required for spectator safety.
2. Doors with center bar removal of double doors for east access and/or exit of equipment and carts.
3. Seating on spectator side with at least 15 rows.
4. Two adequate indoor warm up areas for body and equipment for guard and two adequate indoor warm up areas (band room/choral room/auditorium) where sound does not carry into performance area.
5. Hallways, foyer, or room for storage of floor tarps and equipment.
6. Male/Female Locker rooms or classrooms for changing.
7. Adequate washroom facilities for the general public.
8. Room for Judges with food and drink separate from contest staff.
9. Room for contest staff with food and drink.
10. A concession stand or snack bar available during contest times.
11. Area for booster/AIA Sponsor tables with spectator traffic.
12. Power at the front and back CENTERLINE (30 amp dedicated service or greater if possible) in the performance area as required. Wall outlets should suffice but must be on separate circuits.
13. Parking facilities for spectators and participating group parking (buses, vans, trucks, etc)
14. Provide transportation to and from airport/hotel if necessary. Provide transportation from airport/hotel to contest site if necessary.
15. Separate room near the main performance area for tabulation with access to a copier and wireless internet access.
